Brief Introduction of collision detection system AWS650:
As a sophisticated vehicle electric active safety system, AWS is mainly used in highway, urban expressway and other high-grade road. Its main object is assisting the driver to keep in lane and keep distance, avoiding traffic accident caused by land departure; at the same time, reducing the risk of front collision accident caused by driver's distraction, so as to reduce injury.
The product combines image identification, risk estimate and many high technologies; completely compliance with international road condition, traffic laws and driver's habit. When the vehicle passively departure the land due to driver's distraction or fatigue, get too close with front car, or there's other vehicle overtake in short distance, the system will automatically alarm until the driver correct the driving direction or actively control the vehicle distance. The system only has safety reminding function; it will not automatically take measures to intervene driver's operation. Driver should still be responsible for the safety driving.

Function of Anti Collision Warning System
1. Lane Departure Warning (abbr. LDW)
It takes the foresee camera as mainly sensor, detects and trails the lane line upon the machine's visual technology, combining driver's characteristic to judge whether the vehicle has out-lane dangerous, providing sound and lamplight warning for drivers.
When the vehicle is unconsciously departure the driving lane, it will provide the visual and audio alarming for the driver, until the driver redress the driving direction, its purpose is to avoid the accident which caused by the driver's fatigue or distraction to unconsciously departure the lane.
2. Forward Collision Warning (abbr. FCW)
It takes the camera as mainly sensor, detects and trails the front vehicle upon machine vision technology, combining driver's characteristic to judge whether the vehicle is too close to front vehicle, or has collision dangerous, providing sound and lamplight warning for drivers.
When the vehicle is too close to the front vehicle or has anti collision danger, it will provide the visual and audio alarming, to warn the drivers take actions to avoid the accident, reduce the accident's lost.
3. Video Output Function
AWS650 can output the landline recognition effect, vehicle recognition effect, vehicle signal and other information by overlaying them to original image through OSD function; enable car video to record directly. Equivalently appreciate other secondary function like the high-performance foresee camera, black box, points record and so on.
4. Integrate with Fleet Management Tracking System
AWS650 can be integrated with fleet management tracking system and output warning information to fleet management center for a better fleet safety management. It can help vehicle fleets to reduce 90% of traffic accidents and assist drivers to form good driving habit.
5. Overspeed Driving Warning
AWS650 will detect the vehicle speed and give alert if the vehicle speed is over the setting parameter. It can help drivers avoid traffic accidents caused by overs peeding driving.

FAQ
1.When the product will begin to work?
In order not to disturb driver's normal driving, meanwhile considering the commercial vehicle's handling, we suggest to set the FCW and LDW functions' start up driving speed 30KM/H.
2. Is it any difference between FCW alarming and LDW alarming's sound?
LDW alarming sound is "di di di di", FCW alarming sound is "danger" and "di di di di".
3.What is the distance of the front anti-collision alarming, why is the time different for every alarming?
Front anti-collision has two different alarming mode, safety distance alarming and anti-collision alarming. The alarming time is not a solid value, it is calculated according to the driving speed and two vehicle's relative velocity. For example, if the driving speed is 50km/h, safety distance alarming is about 18 meters, the brake time is 1.3s; if two vehicle continue to close to, has the rear-end danger, the system enter into the anti-collision warning mode, in this condition, the reaction time for the driver is about 2.7s. Faster driving speed, more far alarming distance, earlier alarming time. More faster of two vehicle's closing speed, more far alarming distance, earlier alarming time.
4.What is the distance of LDW alarming?
LDW alarming is on the base of front wheel, but according to the international standard and take into account of driver's comfortable, the actual alarming time is advised to set above groove 10-20cm. But it will be a little difference according to the vehicle height and product installation error.
5.Why it will be different between the right departure alarming time and left departure alarming time?
It will be a slightly different between the right departure alarming and left departure alarming because of the bumpiness of the road surface, vehicle height and the rotation error during the product installation. But the latest alarming time of left side is not exceeding the double yellow line of left sides 20cm. Meeting the international standard, can get the expectant result.
6.If there is FCW alarming and LDW alarming, how does the system handle it?
Because the dangerousness of FCW alarming is higher than the LDW alarming dangerousness, if two alarming coincide, only will send the FCW alarming.
7. How can the driver control or avoid alarm?
If the driver make turn signal when changing lanes, or brake when closing with front vehicle, it can control the system alarm. System will restart alarm function after 3seconds when finishing brake or turn signal end.
8. How can I do if the front side alert keep alarming when I actively speed up to overtake front vehicle?
The driver should turn on left signal before overtaking. At this moment the safety distance reminding still works, but the lane departure collision alert will be controlled automatically to avoid driver's auditory fatigue.
9. How does the collision alarm give out if there's a vehicle overtaken?
When there's a vehicle overtaking from close distance, the safety distance alarm will give out at first. If the vehicle is too close, it will trigger collision alarm; if the front vehicle drives away acceleratory, alert will be relieved.
10. Why is the collision alert not so sensitive?
In order to make sure of driver's alertness, the collision alert's threshold setting is conservative, it only works in real collision dangerous occurred. The driver should judge the actual condition rapidly, tap the brakes to avoid collision.
11. Does front alert include auto brake function?
Commercial vehicle's braking system is pneumatic circuit; most of them don't have ABS adjustment. In order to avoid more risk caused by braking lost, the device doesn't have auto brake function.
12. Can the system's image connect with video DVR?
The product reserves one NTSC video output, which can change to standard female short interface through patch cord to provide recording of video DVR.
13. How do drivers use our system to form safety driving habit?
The drivers should drive in self land, and turn signal to change land; control distance, avoid closer distance, then system's alert will be reduced rapidly. As time passes, drivers can form a good safety driving habit.
